CHIPPEWA FALLS — Lake Wissota turns 100 this year.  Though the occasion marks a time to celebrate the economic and recreational gem the Chippewa River impoundment has become, Lake Wissota advocates are taking the opportunity to warn that one of the largest bodies of water in northwestern Wisconsin is showing signs of age, in part a victim of its own popularity.
