Pratt & Whitney has established its latest engineering operation in Florida to work on developing new military engines more quickly and less expensively, Pratt officials said.Dubbed "GatorWorks" in a nod to its location at Pratt's growing West Palm Beach, Florida, facility, the new operation's objective is to deliver advanced engines "in half the lead time and for half the cost of traditional procurement cycles," Pratt Military Engines President Matthew Bromberg said.
