A Northfield woman is accused of buying a gun and giving it to another person in exchange for drugs. According to the U.S. Attorney's office, Courtney Hallstrom, 23, pleaded not guilty in U.S. District Court in Burlington on Monday to a felony count of making false statements in connection with the purchase of a firearm. If convicted, Hallstrom faces a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison. She was ordered held pending a hearing Wednesday.
