The Chattanooga Fire Department responded at approximately 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday to a reported structure fire at 514 Biltmore Drive. It took five fire companies (Engine 15, Squad 13, Quint 13, Engine 5 and Engine 4) about five minutes to get the fire under control. Captain Chris Fryar the Incident Commander said the firefighters located the fire in the bedroom and were able to contain the fire damage to that room. The rest of the house had smoke damage. A fire preparedness workshop will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Jemez Mountain Baptist Church in La Cueva. A home on Lightfoot Mill Road was damaged by a kitchen fire Wednesday afternoon.   Shortly after 3 p.m., Chattanooga firefighters were dispatched to a house fire at 3026 Lightfoot Mill Road. Smoke was visible as the first firefighters arrived on the scene.
