An Army veteran gunned down in Deltona on Veterans Day was shot twice in the head and once in the chest, Volusia County Sheriff Mike Chitwood said Wednesday as the hunt continues for the shooter.Carlos Cruz, 60, was shot to death Nov. 11 when he went to help free a car that was stuck in a ditch at Malaga Avenue and Puritan Street.
